Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka
Organization: ShelterArms Speech & Languages Therapy Center
Experience: 0 to 5 Years
Education: BOT / MOT
Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:
Assess children's developmental, physical, emotional, and sensory needs through
standardized evaluations and observations.
Develop individualized therapy and goal plans for children to improve daily living,
motor, play, and social interaction skills.
Conduct therapy sessions focusing on sensory integration, fine and gross motor
development, and cognitive skills.
Support children in enhancing independence in self-care, learning, and recreational
activities.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, speech therapists, psychologists, and other
professionals for holistic child development.
Provide guidance and training to parents/caregivers for home-based therapy
practices.
Maintain accurate therapy records, prepare progress notes, and submit reports on
time as per organizational requirements.
Monitor each child's progress regularly and adapt therapy and goal plans
accordingly.
Ensure therapy practices comply with medical, ethical, and organizational standards.
Participate in awareness programs, parent workshops, and school/community
outreach activities.
Assist senior occupational therapists in research, training, or any ad hoc child-focused
therapeutic projects as needed
