Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Occupational Therapist located in Kozhikode Taluka. The Occupational Therapist will work closely with children with developmental delays, neurological disorders, or learning disabilities. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing children's needs, planning and implementing therapy sessions, designing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Enhancing children's social, physical, emotional, and intellectual growth through therapeutic activities will be a key focus of this role, along with parent education and involvement to ensure sustained progress.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Occupational Therapy practices, with an understanding of Rehabilitation approaches
  • Background in Pediatrics and knowledge of child development principles
  • Excellent Communication skills for working effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of medical practices and procedures relevant to therapy and rehabilitation
  • Strong observational, problem-solving, and patient-centered care skills
  • Relevant experience in working with children with special needs is preferred
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent qualification)
  • Certification and licensure as per regional and national standards
