Job Description

Company Description

Hey you! Yes, you, the Occupational Therapist reading this.

This might just be one of those roles that changes the direction of your career.

At Asdflo, we are building India's trusted platform for parents of neurodiverse children to find verified therapists, child development centers, inclusive schools, and support professionals they can truly rely on.

But this is bigger than a platform. We are trying to build a world where parents do not feel lost, where children get the support they deserve early and where professionals like you get to do meaningful work in the way it should be done with empathy, structure, and real impact. If you have the patience, the right qualifications, and the ability to communicate with clarity, warmth, and confidence, then this is not just another job. This is a chance to help make the world a little safer, gentler, and better for children who need it most.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru for an Occupational Therapist with one of our international partner organisations. And we're not just looking for someone to just do sessions. We're looking for someone who can walk into a room and make a child feel safe. Someone who can observe deeply, think carefully and build therapy plans that are not generic, but genuinely tailored to the child in front of them. In this role, you will assess children with developmental and sensory needs, create thoughtful therapy plans, and support their progress across physical, sensory, emotional, cognitive, and social development.

You will also work closely with parents, educators, and other professionals because great therapy does not happen in isolation. It happens when everyone around the child understands the goal, the progress, and the path ahead.

This role needs someone who can do the clinical work well, but also someone who can communicate beautifully, earn trust, and show families that progress is possible.

If you're the kind of therapist who knows that even the smallest win matters, a child sitting longer, regulating better, holding stronger, engaging more, trying again then you'll understand why this work matters so much.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who brings both skill and heart.

You should have:

  • a degree in Occupational Therapy such as BOT / MOT or an equivalent relevant qualification
  • experience ranging from 1-6 years as OT, Shadow Teacher, Special Educator
  • a strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy, especially with neurodiverse children
  • knowledge of rehabilitation, sensory integration, developmental support, and child-focused intervention techniques
  • superb communication skills and the ability to build trust with children, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • the patience, empathy, and emotional steadiness needed to work in deeply meaningful child-centered environments
  • strong observation, documentation, and progress-tracking abilities
  • a genuine desire to help children become more confident, independent, and supported in everyday life

Prior experience working with children with autism, ADHD, developmental delays, sensory needs, or other special needs is preferred.

  • Freshers with strong clinical exposure, the right attitude, and a real commitment to this work are also encouraged to apply
