Mechanical Engineer High rise & Complex Buildings

Key Responsibilities

• Design HVAC systems, water supply, drainage, firefighting, ventilation, and other mechanical building systems
• Perform heat load and cooling load calculations using tools like HAP/IES and related software
• Carry out ventilation calculations, water supply sizing, and drainage system design
• Perform duct and pipe pressure drop calculations
• Select and size mechanical equipment based on project requirements
• Coordinate MEP systems and perform interdisciplinary design checks
• Review and certify Revit/CAD models and layouts for accuracy and compliance
• Design safety systems including fire safety and security-related mechanical installations
• Support mechanical design across concept, schematic, and detailed design stages
• Ensure compliance with regional and international design standards (UK, Middle East, Nordics exposure preferred)
• Collaborate with global teams on complex high-rise and large-scale projects
• Support coordination with architectural and structural disciplines
