Role Summary
Owns marketing execution for company's end-to-end — brand, positioning, demand generation, events, PR/analyst relations and product marketing— in close partnership with the company's leadership team. Produces and reviews the work of the internal team and external vendors/agencies, translating company and revenue goals into an integrated marketing planning and execution, and is accountable for pipeline contribution, brand visibility, and market positioning in the agentic automation / intelligent automation category.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing planning: Own the annual and quarterly marketing planning & execution — goals, budget, channel mix, and calendar — in collaboration with the co-founders and President, North America, tying every initiative back to pipeline, brand, and category-leadership goals.
- Brand & positioning: Evolve Company's brand voice, visual identity guidelines, and narrative across web, collateral, social, and events; act as final reviewer/approver for messaging consistency across the marketing function.
- Demand generation: Responsible for content, video, paid media, off-page/SEO/AEO) to ensure it ladders up to marketing priorities; set quarterly targets and evaluate performance against them.
- Own top-of-funnel to MQL/SQL strategy across organic, paid, email/nurture, ABM, and partner-driven channels.
- Select and manage external agencies/vendors (design, ABM, marketing automation) where in-house bandwidth is insufficient.
- Product marketing: Collaborate to create product positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation for the Company's platform (Agentic AI, RPA/IPA, orchestration, and governance pillars); keep messaging current as product and market evolve.
- Build sales enablement assets: pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, ROI/value calculators, and objection-handling material, working closely with sales and pre-sales.
- Partner with product/engineering leadership to translate roadmap and releases into go-to-market messaging and launch plans.
- Develop and maintain competitive intelligence — battlecards, win/loss insights, and category positioning vs. RPA, IPA, and agentic AI vendors.
- Analyst relations: Work with leadership team for outreach to and relationships with industry analysts (Gartner, Forrester, Everest Group, and similar) to sustain and grow existing recognition; own analyst briefings, inquiries, and report participation.
- Events & field marketing: Own the strategy and calendar for industry conferences, trade shows, webinars, and partner/customer events (e.g., the Delhi manufacturing event format); direct planning, sponsorships, booth presence, and follow-up campaigns.
- Team leadership: Recruit, coach, and manage any future hires; set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and build a marketing function that scales with the company.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Serve as the primary marketing partner to sales leadership to align campaigns, territories, and account-based initiatives with revenue targets.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- MBA in Marketing or equivalent, from a well-regarded institute.
- 8-10 years in B2B marketing, including at least 3 years in a marketing managerial role owning execution, and a team as well as an individual-contributor.
- Comfortable operating hands-on (producing, reviewing content, campaigns, or creative) while also thinking at a strategic, company-wide level.
- Proven experience building and executing marketing plans spanning brand, demand generation and product marketing — ideally in SaaS, automation, or enterprise technology.
- Track record of managing and developing marketing team members and/or agencies, including setting goals and reviewing output for quality and strategic fit.
- Experience partnering directly with founders/CXOs and sales leadership to align marketing investment with revenue goals.
- Working knowledge of analyst relations processes (Gartner, Forrester, Everest Group or similar) and how analyst recognition is built and sustained.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to represent Company's externally.
- Working knowledge of AI-based marketing tools and generic LLMs such as Claude, Gemini, or OpenAI.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Prior experience in RPA, IPA, AI, or enterprise B2B software marketing.
- Experience marketing into North America from an India-based/global-delivery structure, working across time zones with a North America-based sales leader.
- Experience scaling a marketing function from a single generalist/digital hire into a broader team.
- Good knowledge of marketing automation/CRM platforms, GA4, Search Console, and ad-platform reporting and other AI marketing tools
