We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic Business Development Intern/Marketing Intern to drive lead generation and early-stage sales activities. This role is ideal for individuals starting their careers in business development who are eager to build strong sales skills, understand customer needs, and contribute to business growth.
The primary focus of this role is to identify, generate, and qualify leads, and support the sales pipeline through proactive outreach and relationship building.
Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilites Include
- Lead generation and prospecting:
- Identify potential customers through research, cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and other channels.
- Generate qualified leads and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Outbound and inbound engagement:
- Engage with inbound inquiries and convert them into qualified opportunities.
- Perform outbound outreach (calls, emails, social selling) to create new business opportunities.
- Client interaction:
- Understand customer requirements and communicate relevant solutions.
- Schedule meetings, demos, and follow-ups with prospects.
- Sales pipeline management:
- Maintain and update leads, prospects, and activities in CRM tools.
- Track lead status, follow-ups, and conversion progress.
- Market research:
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target markets.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential partnerships.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing and senior sales teams to improve lead quality and conversion.
- Support proposal preparation and initial client discussions.
- Target achievement:
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation and conversion targets.
