Job Description
SVKM's NMIMS Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management & Engineering (MPSTME) is a constituent school of NMIMS University, offering undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes in engineering and technology management, with a strong focus on academic rigour, industry relevance, and experiential learning.
The Marketing Executive for MPSTME will be responsible for management of all the marketing, communication, and digital initiatives for the School. The role is exclusively aligned to MPSTME and focuses on planning, executing, and managing school-specific marketing activities in coordination with the central Marketing & PR team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Digital & Content Management
Independently manage all social media handles (of MPSTME), including content, posting and analytics.
Conceptualize, write, edit, and publish high-quality content for social media, website pages, blogs, announcements, and admission-related communication.
Ensure regular updates of the school website, including program pages, faculty profiles, news, events, and achievements in coordination with the central web team.
Plan and execute basic videos on campus for reels, shorts videos, testimonials, events, and academic highlights.
Perform basic video editing for social media and digital platforms.
- Campaigns & Admissions Support
Support UG and PG admission campaigns through digital-first initiatives.
Work closely with central marketing team on campaign messaging, creatives, execution.
Assist in promoting entrance exams, open houses, webinars, workshops, competitions, and academic events related to the Engineering School.
- Coordination & Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with faculty members, students, and student committees to identify stories, achievements, projects, and research outcomes worth highlighting.
Coordinate with PR, media, and design teams to ensure alignment with brand guidelines.

Track social media and website performance using basic analytics tools.
Share periodic reports highlighting reach, engagement, content performance, and key learnings.
Recommend improvements based on data and platform trends.
Qualification And Work Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Digital Marketing, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in marketing, digital content, or social media management (experience in education or technology domains preferred).
- Demonstrated experience in independently managing social media accounts and digital content.
