Business Development Manager – Ranges

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive growth for our Ranges (Training & Simulation Systems) business. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and supporting the end-to-end sales cycle within defense, paramilitary, and allied sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the defense, paramilitary, and law enforcement sectors.
  • Promote and sell live firing ranges, virtual simulation systems, and training solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including government agencies, defense officials, and institutional clients.
  • Track and analyze tenders (RFP/RFQ), prepare proposals, and coordinate bid submissions.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (technical, production, and leadership) for solution alignment and proposal development.
  • Drive revenue growth and achieve assigned sales targets.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
  • Prepare periodic MIS reports and sales forecasts.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Business Administration / Defense Studies or related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in business development, preferably in defense, aerospace, or training systems.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes in defense/government sectors.
  • Experience in handling tenders and large-value projects.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across India.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of military training systems / shooting ranges / simulation technologies.
  • Existing network within defense or paramilitary organizations.
  • Strategic thinking with strong analytical abilities.
