Business Development Manager – Ranges
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive growth for our Ranges (Training & Simulation Systems) business. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and supporting the end-to-end sales cycle within defense, paramilitary, and allied sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the defense, paramilitary, and law enforcement sectors.
- Promote and sell live firing ranges, virtual simulation systems, and training solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including government agencies, defense officials, and institutional clients.
- Track and analyze tenders (RFP/RFQ), prepare proposals, and coordinate bid submissions.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams (technical, production, and leadership) for solution alignment and proposal development.
- Drive revenue growth and achieve assigned sales targets.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
- Prepare periodic MIS reports and sales forecasts.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Business Administration / Defense Studies or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in business development, preferably in defense, aerospace, or training systems.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes in defense/government sectors.
- Experience in handling tenders and large-value projects.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of military training systems / shooting ranges / simulation technologies.
- Existing network within defense or paramilitary organizations.
- Strategic thinking with strong analytical abilities.
