Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer with 46 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in manual testing, with automation testing knowledge as an added advantage. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of applications across multiple platforms including Windows, macOS, Mobile, and Tablets, while closely collaborating with stakeholders and following defined QA processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and specifications to understand application functionality
- Design, write, and execute test cases covering functional and non-functional requirements
- Review and provide feedback on test cases written by other QA team members
- Perform various types of testing, including:
Functional Testing
Integration Testing
Smoke Testing
Regression Testing - Test applications across Windows, macOS, Mobile, and Tablet platforms
- Identify, document, and log defects with clear reproduction steps
- Track defects through the complete defect lifecycle and ensure timely resolution
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to clarify issues and validate fixes
- Ensure QA activities are aligned with project timelines and delivery plans
- Follow and enforce defined QA processes and standards
- Participate in QA status meetings and provide regular testing updates
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 46 years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC
- Experience testing applications on Windows, macOS, Mobile, and Tablet devices
- Proficiency with defect tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Good communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
Good to Have (Added Advantage)
- Knowledge or hands-on experience in Automation Testing
- Exposure to AWS or cloud-based environments
- Experience or understanding of Embedded Testing
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Professional Audio experience
