Role Description

We are looking for a skilled Manual QA Engineer with 3–4 years of experience in web application testing to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and desktop applications by performing end-to-end testing, collaborating with stakeholders, and utilizing advanced testing tools.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Testing: Conduct tests across the entire software lifecycle, from development to deployment, ensuring the product functions as intended.
2. Test Planning and Design: Develop test cases, scenarios, and scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications.
3. Manual Testing: Perform manual tests to simulate user behavior and identify defects.
4. Regression Testing: Ensure new updates or fixes do not introduce new issues.
5. Performance Testing: Evaluate the software's speed, scalability, and reliability under different conditions.
6. Bug Tracking and Reporting: Document defects, track their resolution, and verify fixes.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and improve the product.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 3–4 years of manual testing experience with a strong focus on web and desktop applications.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Postman and SmartBear.
• Tools: Proficient in using the Atlassian Stack, particularly Jira, for bug tracking and project management.
• Strong understanding of HTTP protocols and API testing.
• Skills:
• Attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
