Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Manager-Virtual CFO, located in Borivali. The Manager-Virtual CFO will oversee financial planning, implement strategies for financial optimization, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and provide insightful business and tax advisory services. Key responsibilities include preparing financial reports, managing budgets, ensuring compliance, and acting as a financial strategist to support business decision-making and growth.
Key Responsibilities1. Financial Strategy & Advisory
- Act as a Virtual CFO for clients across industries
- Provide strategic inputs on growth, profitability, and cost optimization
- Assist in fundraising, investor presentations, and financial modeling
2. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
- Develop MIS dashboards and periodic financial reports
- Analyze business performance and suggest actionable insights
3. Accounting & Compliance Oversight
- Review bookkeeping, financial statements, and closing processes
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and laws
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
4. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
- Monitor cash flows and liquidity planning
- Optimize working capital cycles and fund utilization
5. Process Improvement & Controls
- Implement SOPs and strengthen internal financial controls
- Drive automation and efficiency in finance processes
6. Client Management
- Manage multiple client engagements independently
- Build strong relationships with founders, CXOs, and stakeholders
- Lead and mentor junior team members
Eligibility / Preferred Background- 5–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a CA firm, consulting firm, or professional services environment
- Experience in handling multiple clients and advisory assignments
- Prior exposure to startups/SMEs will be an added advantage
Key Skills & Competencies- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, MIS, and business finance
- Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and accounting tools (Tally, Zoho, etc.)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
