Inviting applications for the role of Manager - Project Management
In this role, you will be responsible for closing the books for the entity for the respective region. Analysing and recording accounting entries, working with SOX, Internal & Statutory Auditors to ensure the risk & compliance.
Responsibilities
Closing & Reporting Activities
.Manage day-to-day accounting activities within the General Ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
.Prepare audit schedules and respond to audit queries across SOX, internal, and statutory audits.
.Execute and monitor SOX controls relevant to the accounting process.
.Prepare accrued liability schedules and conduct cost analysis to support financial planning.
.Perform variance analysis for Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements.
.Address and resolve queries from internal and external stakeholders.
.Prepare and review Balance Sheet reconciliations and Intercompany reconciliations
.Handle TDS/GST compliance, including deposition, return filing, and responding to departmental queries.
.Support Accounts Payable (AP), Payroll, and Corporate Tax processes.
.Manage asset capitalisation and depreciation accounting.
.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure audit readiness and process improvements.

Project Management
.Preparation of the project plan and its timely tracking & Execution
.Effective communication and stakeholder management

Below are the key projects
.Setting/ deactivation of legal entities in the system
.Process and system change due to the merger and functional currency changes
.E Invoicing setup and working with Sourcing/Legal/Infosec/VGO for execution of new or existing Vendor
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
. CA /CS with relevant years of experience preferred or MBA with Strong Accounting & Project Management experience
. Good exposure to MS Office.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
.Strong foundation in accounting principles and financial reporting.
.Experience in handling audits and implementing SOX controls.
.Proficiency in tax compliance (TDS/GST) and statutory filings.
.Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
.Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
.Familiarity with ERP systems and reconciliation tools is preferred.
