We are seeking a skilled and forward-thinking Manager – SEO & GEO to lead our organic growth strategy across both traditional search engines and emerging AI-driven discovery platforms. This role will be responsible for driving search visibility, optimizing content for generative engines, and leading a team to deliver measurable business impact.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO and GEO strategies to improve organic rankings across search engines and AI-powered platforms (e.g., generative search, answer engines, and LLM-based discovery).
- Lead and mentor a team of SEO specialists, ensuring high-quality execution of campaigns, continuous learning, and performance excellence.
- Conduct in-depth keyword, query intent, and conversational search research to identify high-value opportunities across both traditional and AI-driven search ecosystems.
- Optimize website content for search engines and generative AI platforms, including meta tags, structured data, topical authority, and semantic relevance.
- Drive content strategies aligned with GEO principles, ensuring content is structured, authoritative, and easily interpretable by AI models and answer engines.
- Oversee technical SEO initiatives, including site audits, crawlability, indexation, site performance, schema markup, and AI-readiness.
- Plan and execute link-building and authority-building strategies to enhance domain credibility and improve visibility across both SERPs and generative outputs.
- Monitor and analyze performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO platforms, along with emerging GEO/AI visibility tracking tools.
- Track and optimize for AI-driven search visibility metrics, such as featured snippets, answer inclusion, and generative engine citations.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports, dashboards, and insights to stakeholders, highlighting both SEO and GEO impact.
- Stay updated on search engine algorithm changes, AI advancements, and generative search trends, proactively adapting strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (content, product, engineering, design) to align SEO & GEO initiatives with broader marketing and business goals.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in SEO, with exposure to or strong interest in GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and AI-driven search.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful SEO strategies, with measurable impact on traffic and conversions.
- Experience managing or mentoring a team, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of SEO fundamentals (on-page, off-page, technical SEO) and evolving GEO practices (semantic search, entity optimization, structured content).
- Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
- Familiarity with AI search ecosystems, including Google SGE, Bing Copilot, and other generative search interfaces, is a strong plus.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
