Key Responsibilities
Business Development Strategy
- Develop and execute business development strategies to acquire new clients and expand market presence
- Identify opportunities across mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and advisory services
- Align growth initiatives with organizational goals and prevailing market trends
Client Relationship Management
- Manage relationships with key decision-makers across prospective and existing client organizations
- Act as the primary contact to understand client needs and align suitable investment banking solutions
- Support ongoing client engagement to ensure long-term business growth
Market Research and Competitive Analysis
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, potential clients, and growth opportunities
- Analyze competitive activity and market dynamics to assess risks and opportunities
- Track industry developments and recommend strategic positioning initiatives
Pitch and Proposal Development
- Lead the development of pitch decks, proposals, and presentations for prospective clients
- Ensure client-focused, high-quality materials aligned with investment banking offerings
- Support senior bankers in presenting value propositions to clients
Deal Origination and Execution
- Support deal origination through target identification and opportunity assessment
- Assist in transaction execution, including coordination with legal and financial teams
- Track deal performance post-closure and support ongoing client relationships
Networking and Partnerships
- Build and maintain a strong network of industry professionals, investors, and institutions
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking forums
- Develop strategic partnerships to enhance service offerings and client reach
Revenue Growth and Performance Tracking
- Drive revenue growth through new client acquisition and account expansion
- Set, track, and report on business development targets and performance metrics
- Provide regular updates to senior management on pipeline and conversion progress
