Job Description

The position requires a seasoned self-starter who can operate across strategy, stakeholder engagement, program design, and storytelling. You will lead a lean team to build visibility for how entrepreneurship drives systemic economic impact across India.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Branding & Positioning

  • Lead narrative building to position the organization as a catalyst for mass entrepreneurship
  • Design and execute integrated communication campaigns for key initiatives (e.g., district-level entrepreneurship and women's economic empowerment programs)
  • Develop tailored messaging for government, institutional, and partner stakeholders (B2G, B2P)

2. Digital & Content Strategy

  • Own and manage the organization's website as a knowledge and storytelling hub
  • Drive social media strategy (LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) to enhance visibility and engagement
  • Translate complex data and reports into accessible, high-impact content (posts, videos, insights)
  • Design and manage high-quality newsletters for partners and funders

3. Storytelling, Media & Advocacy

  • Work with program teams to surface on-ground impact stories of entrepreneurs and MSMEs
  • Manage media relationships to drive coverage in business and mainstream press
  • Lead communications for events, summits, and roundtables to strengthen thought leadership

4. Stakeholder Management & Operations

  • Support senior leadership with communication for public engagements and media interactions
  • Develop co-branded communication toolkits for partners
  • Lead and mentor a small team, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery
  • Manage communications budgets effectively

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 15+ years of experience in communications, marketing, or PR (corporate + social sector preferred)
  • Proven ability to build and scale communication functions independently
  • Strong digital expertise (CMS, email marketing tools, analytics)
  • Ability to translate data into compelling narratives
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Excellent writing and editing capabilities across formats
  • High agility—comfortable operating across strategy, execution, and problem-solving
