Job Description

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant for the Employee Experience team to support strategic planning and execution for complex initiatives that may be global or regional in scope. The candidate will work with a global delivery team to define, plan, and execute employee change strategies for various products, rollouts, and initiatives, enabling measurable outcomes through strong governance and communication.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives

  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate

  • Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance

  • Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations

  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans

  • Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives

  • Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with strong stakeholder management, governance, and the ability to facilitate strategy and planning discussions (workshops, prioritization, roadmaps).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-ready storytelling, and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for employee-facing audiences proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite of products (Copilot proficiency desired).
  • Demonstrated experience with change management and employee adoption (communications planning, training/learning enablement, engagement tactics, reinforcement) and establishing measurement approaches (KPIs/OKRs, adoption metrics, dashboards) to translate results into actionable insights.
  • Experience supporting global or enterprise programs with a regional lens (translating strategy into local execution, managing local stakeholders, and balancing standardization with regional needs).


Job Expectations:

  • Work in a hybrid environment as applicable to the role and maintain flexibility in schedule to support critical deliverables and stakeholder needs to enable collaboration across time zones when necessary.
  • Lead and participate in employee-facing engagement activities (e.g., town halls, demos, office hours, training sessions) to support change rollouts and drive adoption.
  • Occasional travel may be required based on business needs (e.g., team meetings, stakeholder workshops, and offsites).
  • Demonstrate strong ownership of deadlines, risk leadership, and dependency management: proactively manage dependencies, escalate risks/issues early, and ensure timely delivery of agreed outcomes, in alignment with applicable policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Experience working with and managing global technology teams and technology landscape ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously comfortable with ambiguity and facilitating discussions to explore the best possible solutions.
