Responsibilities
- Hospitality Asset Management
- Oversee financial and operational performance of all hospitality assets within the group.
- Ensure robust financial governance, adherence to budgets, and achievement of profitability targets.
- Monitor hotel operator performance, ensuring compliance with agreed management contracts and KPIs.
- Review annual operating plans (AOPs), business plans, capital expenditure proposals, and financial reports of each asset.
- Provide recommendations to enhance asset efficiency, RevPAR, GOP, and overall asset value.
- Strategic Business Development & Partnerships
- Identify strategic partnerships with hotel operators, brands, investors, and service providers to enhance portfolio value.
- Lead tie-ups, negotiations, and collaborations with hospitality operators and other strategic partners.
- Structure deals—management contracts, franchise agreements, lease models, JV arrangements, etc.—to maximize asset value and align with company objectives.
- Evaluate build–operate–transfer (BOT), management, and acquisition opportunities as part of expansion strategy.
- Market & Business Analysis
- Conduct market intelligence studies, competitor benchmarking, and demand–supply assessments across target geographies.
- Analyze trends in hospitality, tourism, and real estate to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare feasibility studies, business cases, scenario analysis, and financial models to support investment decision-making.
- Contracting, Negotiation & Governance
- Work closely with commercial and legal teams for drafting and finalizing management agreements, commercial terms, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with finance teams to assess financial viability, IRR, NPV, sensitivity analyses, and investment returns.
- Ensure contracts reflect risk mitigation, value enhancement, and alignment with corporate governance standards.
- Stakeholder Management & Reporting
- Serve as a key liaison between hotel operators, internal corporate teams, and asset owners.
- Prepare and present periodic portfolio performance reports, investment updates, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Maintain strong relationships with industry bodies, consultants, operators, and government authorities
Qualifications
Qualification: MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred and relevant experience in hospitality asset management, business development, hotel investment, or related domains
