Job Description

Role Overview:

We are looking for a result-driven Key Account Manager with a mandatory 23 years of team handling experience to lead strategic client relationships and ensure the delivery of exceptional service. The role requires strong ownership of key accounts, team leadership, the ability to lead teams to consistently meet account objectives and SLAs and driving revenue growth through effective relationship management, operational execution, and collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive daily, weekly, and monthly targets across assigned accounts
  • Drive target achievement through the team on a daily basis, including tracking performance and corrective actions
  • Conduct daily reviews / huddles to monitor progress, address gaps, and prioritize tasks
  • Lead, manage, and motivate teams to deliver on account objectives, service SLAs, and revenue goals
  • Monitor team KPIs, productivity, and performance metrics to ensure consistent delivery
  • Act as an escalation point for critical client and operational issues
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build credibility and strong working relationships with senior management and enterprise clients
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership growth
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency, and service optimization
  • Prepare and present performance reviews, MIS, dashboards, and reports to senior leadership
  • Drive a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement within the team
  • Excellent customer service skills in the areas of problem-solving, task prioritization and follow-up.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Collaborate with internal and external resources in order to gain credibility with senior management.
  • Proactive and self-driven with a great sense of ownership
  • Good in negotiation and persuasion

Experience

  • 4 to 9 years of experience in key account management
  • Experience in managing and leading teams to deliver on account objectives and service SLAs
  • Proven track record of managing large enterprise clients and leading team

Functional Skills

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of logistics operations, service delivery, and client lifecycle management
  • Proficient in MS Excel; knowledge of analytics tools (VBA, SQL, R, Python) is a plus
