Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Video Editor to help us capture and showcase the excitement of Comic Con India through dynamic and engaging video content. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing raw footage into polished, shareable videos that will be used for promotional purposes, social media campaigns, event coverage, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

●      Edit and produce high-quality video content for events, social media, and promotional campaigns that resonate with the Comic Con India audience.

●      Assemble raw footage, create seamless transitions, add effects, and ensure excellent pacing and storytelling.

●      Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals, audience expectations, and brand messaging.

●      Work on short-form content (teasers, reels, highlights, announcements) as well as long-form content (panels, interviews, event recaps).

●      Add music, sound effects, motion graphics, and other elements to enhance video quality.

●      Ensure videos meet the technical and aesthetic requirements of various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.).

●      Manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.

●      Provide creative input on how to elevate content and push boundaries of visual storytelling.

Requirements:

●      Proven work experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio or video reel.

●      Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.

●      Strong understanding of pacing, timing, and storytelling for both live events and social media content.

●      Familiarity with social media trends and platform-specific video requirements.

●      A keen eye for detail, creativity, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

●      Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have:

●      Experience in pop culture, fandom, or live event coverage.

●      Knowledge of 3D animation or visual effects software.

●      Experience with sound design, color correction, and motion graphics is a plus.

●      Graphic design skills.
