About Floraindia:

Floraindia is a premier 23-year-old eCommerce leader dedicated to connecting people through thoughtful gifting and floral experiences across India. As we continue to innovate our digital presence, we are looking for a creative visual-first mind to help us connect with the next generation of customers through high-impact, performance-driven video content.

The Role:

Do you have a thumb-stopping aesthetic and a mind for what makes people click We have a massive library of high-quality professional photo and video shoots, and we are looking for a Junior Video Editor who can transform these raw assets into high-converting ads for Google and Instagram.

You won't be working in a vacuum. While you'll have scripts from our in-house writers to get you started, we want a Performance Creative who can bring their own stories to the table. You'll have the creative freedom to experiment with original concepts, hooks, and visual styles to see what truly resonates with our audience.

Key Responsibilities (The Performance Creative Edge):

  • Concept & Storyboarding: Collaborate with writers or build your own original storyboards from scratch to pitch new ad ideas.
  • Hook Mastery: Create multiple versions of video hooks (the first 3 seconds) to test which visual style captures the most attention.
  • Data-Driven Editing: Analyze which edits are performing best and iterate on them to improve engagement and click-through rates.
  • Spatial Awareness: Expertly crop and frame landscape photos/videos into vertical (9:16) formats, ensuring the Performance elements (CTA/Subject) are always center-stage.
  • AI-Enhanced Workflow: Use common AI tools for smart-cropping, automated captions, and background enhancements to keep production fast and lean.
  • Musicality: Select and edit to the right background score. You should have ears for musicmatching transitions and cuts to the beat for maximum emotional impact.

Your Toolkit:

  • Editing Software: Proficiency in at least one major tool (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut Desktop).
  • Design & Layout: Experience with Canva, Adobe Express, or Photoshop for quick image tweaks and typography.
  • Trend Awareness: A deep understanding of Instagram trends and current visual Performance styles.
  • Technical Basics: Solid knowledge of Aspect Ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9) and Safe Zones for social media overlays.

What Makes You the Perfect Fit

  • Performance Mindset: You don't just care if a video looks pretty; you care if it performs. You understand how to use visual cues to drive a Call to Action (CTA).
  • Creative Autonomy: You are a self-starter who can look at a folder of photos and say, I have a great idea for a 15-second story for this.
  • Visual Logic: You can look at a still photo and see how it can move, be cropped, or be layered to create a dynamic video ad.
  • Speed & Agility: You can turn a concept into a high-quality draft quickly without sacrificing the performance-driven quality.

Payout Budget: Between 15K to 20K per month. However, budget is not a constraint for a Talent, one who adds value to the Organization.
