Analyst Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytically strong Investment Analyst to join our investment team in Mumbai. This role is ideal for someone who is intellectually curious, commercially minded, and passionate about climate and sustainability, with a strong interest in how technologies scale in real-world industrial and emerging market contexts. As an Analyst, you will work closely with the Partners and investment team across the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing and thesis development to diligence, execution, and portfolio support. You will also gain direct exposure to corporate partnerships, deployment-led investing, and ecosystem-building initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in founder meetings and prepare investment summaries and screening assessments
• Conduct deep sector research on technologies, regulations, and market structures in climate and industrial sustainability
• Proactively source and track early-stage companies with strong India or emerging market relevance
• Support investment thesis development, including market mapping and opportunity sizing
• Assist across the investment process: commercial and technical diligence, business model analysis, market sizing, competitive benchmarking, and financial modelling
• Track deal flow, sector developments, and investment trends

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, Finance, Business, Economics, or Environmental Science
• 13 years in venture capital, private equity, consulting, investment banking, climate tech startups, or related roles
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; comfortable with data, industry research, and financial modelling
• Demonstrated interest in climate and sustainability with practical understanding of business scaling
• Clear, structured communicator able to distil complex concepts into concise insights
• Highly driven, detail-oriented, and intellectually curious; thrives in unstructured, fast-paced environments
