Role Overview: We are looking for a high-potential Strategy Analyst with a unique blend of financial acumen and AI/technology fluency. This role is ideal for candidates with 35 years of experience in investment research, equity analysis, or business analysis within financial services, who are now looking to pivot into or grow within the AI / Deep Tech ecosystem. You will help identify, analyse, and assess AI-led opportunities, whether as potential investments, product strategies, or transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and evaluate AI / Deep Tech companies, products, and trends from both business and technology perspectives
- Conduct financial modelling, market sizing, and strategic analysis to assess potential investments or partnerships
- Translate complex AI/tech concepts into business insights and actionable recommendations
- Work cross-functionally with product, investment, and data science teams to evaluate new use-cases or business models
- Monitor emerging AI trends and provide thought leadership for internal strategy and external communication
- Prepare investment memos, strategic reports, and AI market intelligence briefs
Desired Candidate Profile:
- MBA from a reputed institution (preferred focus: finance, strategy, or technology)
- Bachelor's in engineering (Computer Science, Electronics, or related fields preferred) with 3 to 5 years in roles such as Investment Analyst, Equity Research Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar within:
- Mutual Funds
- Broking / PMS firms
- Investment Banking or Financial Consulting
- Exposure to AI/Tech-driven businesses, either through investment analysis or hands-on involvement in technology projects
- Experience with business model analysis, competitive benchmarking, and go-to-market strategy
- Familiarity with the AI product lifecycle and AI-first business models
