Role Description This is an on-site internship role for an Interior Designer based in Ahmedabad. The Interior Design Intern will support the design team in developing concepts, preparing mood boards, and assisting in space planning for residential and commercial projects. Daily tasks include creating and updating drawings, layouts, and 3D visuals, coordinating FF&E selections, and maintaining material libraries. The intern will help produce construction drawings and documentation under guidance, and participate in site visits to track progress and verify design implementation. Collaboration with senior designers, vendors, and contractors will be an essential part of the role to ensure timely, accurate execution of design solutions.

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of Interior Design and Architecture, with the ability to translate client requirements into practical design concepts.
• Skills in Space Planning and Interior Design layout development for functional, user-focused environments.
• Ability to assist with Construction Drawings and basic architectural detailing to support on-site execution.
• Knowledge of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection, coordination, and sourcing.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and familiarity with MS Office or Google Workspace.
• Strong visual communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to present ideas clearly through sketches, boards, and digital presentations.
• Willingness to work on-site in Ahmedabad, visit project locations, and collaborate in a fast-paced studio environment.
• Good organization, time management, and eagerness to learn from feedback and mentoring.
