Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Ahmedabad. The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing design concepts, preparing mood boards, and translating client requirements into functional, visually compelling spaces. Day-to-day tasks include space planning, creating and reviewing drawings, coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors, and selecting materials, finishes, and FF&E to align with the design vision. The role involves site visits for measurements, supervision of work progress, and quality checks to ensure design integrity and timely execution. The Interior Designer will participate in client meetings, present design proposals, incorporate feedback, and collaborate closely with the studio team to deliver cohesive, high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Interior Design and Architecture, with the ability to integrate aesthetic and functional requirements.
• Proficiency in Space Planning to optimize layouts, circulation, and usability for residential and commercial projects.
• Ability to develop and interpret detailed Construction Drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and joinery details.
• Experience with FF&E selection, including furniture, fixtures, equipment, finishes, and material palettes aligned with project concepts.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Competence in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and basic presentation tools.
• Strong visual sense, attention to detail, and ability to work from concept through execution on-site.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with clients, consultants, and site teams.
• Ability to manage time, handle multiple projects, and work in a studio environment with on-site coordination in Ahmedabad.
