Job Description

Standardized title : Inside Sales Representative

Location: India On-site

Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive inbound and outbound lead engagement through targeted cold calling and personalized email outreach to qualify prospects and set high-quality appointments for field sales or account teams.
  • Manage and progress a sales pipeline in the CRMlog activities, update opportunity stages, and forecast short-term revenue to meet monthly targets.
  • Conduct needs discovery and consultative conversations to position service offerings, prepare tailored proposals, and close transactional deals or schedule demos.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and delivery teams to follow up on campaign responses, nurture leads, and pass-on handoffs with clear context and SLAs.
  • Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly KPIs (calls, qualified leads, conversion rate, revenue) while maintaining accurate CRM hygiene.
  • Capture competitive intel and customer feedback to inform product/service improvements and support continuous sales playbook optimization.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Proven inside-sales experience in B2B or services sales with a track record of meeting targets.
  • Hands-on experience using CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho CRM) for pipeline management.
  • Strong cold-calling and email-outreach capability with measurable conversion results.
  • Skilled in lead qualification and opportunity prioritization using discovery frameworks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for reporting and basic sales analytics.
  • Comfortable working on-site in India and collaborating with cross-functional teams to close deals.

Preferred

  • Experience in HR tech, recruitment services, or career services selling to corporate clients.
  • Familiarity with sales engagement tools (e.g., SalesLoft, Outreach) and email sequencing.
  • Exposure to quota-driven environments and experience preparing simple commercial proposals.
