About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and skilled Academic Counselor with a good sales experience and a strong background in counseling, student engagement, and sales conversion. The ideal candidate must have excellent English communication skills, a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar academic counseling role, and a proven track record in achieving admissions/sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Interact with prospective students and parents to provide course/program information.
- Conduct career counseling sessions to help students choose the right academic path.
- Handle inbound & outbound calls, walk-ins, and follow-ups to drive admissions.
- Convert leads into successful enrollments through effective communication and persuasion.
- Maintain records of interactions, leads, follow-ups, and closures in the CRM system.
- Assist in seminars, webinars, and promotional activities as required.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly admission/sales targets.
- Provide accurate guidance, resolve queries, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Academic Counselor / Education Counselor / Admission Counselor.
- Must have excellent spoken and written English communication.
- Strong sales orientation with proven ability to close admissions.
- Confident, energetic, and target-driven personality.
- Ability to handle students, parents, and multiple inquiries professionally.
- Comfortable working 6 days a week from office.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
Compensation
- Up to 30% hike on current salary
- Maximum 40,000 per month (in-hand)+ Incentives depending on experience, interview performance, and current CTC.
