Commercial risk team provides risk solutions to businesses across many sectors within the US. As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting Risk Capital

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

You will be managing a team of 60 plus colleagues part of Aon's US Commercial Risk Team.

The Business Service Manager is responsible for co-ordinating and managing the provision of support to Team members based in US, drawing upon designated service teams and business support resources.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the service provided to Colleagues based in US by your team of Business Service Support.
  • Build effective working relationships with US and India based Team to ensure the best of Aon and the highest level of service is provided in line with the agreed service tools.
  • Experience in team management, and ability to lead team of up to 60 or more BSS Colleagues, ensuring that their objectives are aligned with the overall business strategy, that performance is satisfactory, and any necessary action is taken to continually to develop capability of the team.
  • Empowering team members with skills to improve their confidence, product knowledge, and communication skills.
  • Adhere to all HR processes and dates.
  • Experienced in implementing the adequate process controls and review mechanism.
  • Collaborate and work with other support functions i.e., Quality, IT, HR, Admin etc for the operations stabilisation and delivery results.
  • Coach and mentor direct reports where appropriate, to support personal and professional development of the team.
  • Strong Stakeholder Management Skills including BI and MIS Reporting
  • Managing SLAS and KPIs of Team and Leading Productivity and Lean Initiatives for the Team
  • Strong Transition Management Skills
  • Responsible for Team Engagement, Hiring, Performance and Retention Management
