Nirmantu Building Service Consultants provides integrated MEP consultancy services across major building disciplines, focusing on advanced engineering solutions. Our expertise includes HVAC design, Electrical Power Management, and Public Health Engineering systems such as water supply, drainage, and sewage treatment. We also specialize in Life Safety Systems, including fire safety and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems like CCTV and structured cabling. Committed to sustainability, we design energy-efficient Solar Power Systems and utilize AutoCAD and Revit-based BIM workflows for precise, clash-free models and seamless interdisciplinary integration.

Role Description:

We are looking for a skilled HVAC Design Engineer who can independently handle design, drafting, and coordination for multi‑disciplinary MEP projects. The ideal candidate should be detail‑oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced consultancy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform HVAC load calculations, equipment sizing, and system selection
  • Prepare design drawings, schematics, and BOQs for VRF, DX, and chilled water systems
  • Develop ducting layouts, piping layouts, and coordination drawings
  • Review architectural and structural drawings for design integration
  • Prepare technical documentation, compliance notes, and consultant‑ready submissions
  • Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, OEMs, and site teams
  • Support project execution with technical clarifications and design revisions
  • Ensure designs comply with ISHRAE, ASHRAE, NBC, and project‑specific standards

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 2–5 years of experience in HVAC design (consultancy experience preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of VRF, ventilation, pressurization, and heat load calculations
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit knowledge is an added advantage
  • Ability to prepare BOQs, technical specifications, and equipment schedules
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Team player with the ability to mentor and support junior draftsmen.
  • Commitment to quality work and continuous professional development.
