As HR Manager, your job is to preserve and amplify these principles every hire, policy, and process should protect the culture, not dilute it.

The most important ways to spend time doing this job are...

  • Building and running a high-velocity recruitment engine that attracts A+ talent across operations, tech, product, marketing, design etc.
  • Creating people systems that are simple, scalable and perfectly aligned to business goals, from onboarding to appraisals to L&D.
  • Acting as the cultural gatekeeper: ensuring our values aren't slogans but lived behaviours across every function.
  • Working closely with founders and leads to pre-empt hiring needs, design role clarity, and architect the org structure as we grow.
  • Owning people analytics and performance dashboards that give leadership real visibility into team health, engagement, and productivity.

Your 45 core duties in this job are...

Talent Acquisition: Build and run hiring pipelines, own sourcing, screening, and interview design to ensure every hire strengthens culture and execution velocity.

Performance & Growth:

  • Drive quarterly performance reviews, role scorecards, feedback loops, and development plans that raise the bar every cycle.
  • Culture & Engagement: Design rituals, cadences, and communication frameworks that reinforce Propsoch's values from onboarding to all-hands.
  • Admin & Compliance: Oversee payroll, attendance, leaves, vendors, contracts, and HR systems with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Founders Partner: Act as the sounding board for leadership on org design, compensation philosophy, and people strategy, and not just HR ops.

What it takes to be successful in this job...

  • 45 years of HR experience in fast-scaling B2C startups (Series A/B) where you've built HR processes from scratch.
  • Proven ability to balance strategic HR thinking with operational hustle. You're as comfortable designing a performance system as you are rolling up your sleeves for a late-night hiring sprint.
  • Deep understanding of recruitment marketing, performance management, and modern HR tools (e.g. Razorpay Payroll, Zoho, or similar).
  • Exceptional communication skills written and verbal with the ability to influence, mediate, and coach with empathy but firmness.
  • A strong sense of fairness, judgement, and discretion you know when to protect, when to push, and when to say no.
