Key Responsibilities
I. Strategic HR Framework
- Set up theHR department frameworkwith clear SOPs and an HR handbook.
- Define and document processes forrecruitment, induction, onboarding, and performance evaluation.
- Audit existing HR processes and create astructured, scalable HR system.
- Ensureend-to-end visibilityacross recruitment, onboarding, payroll, performance, and compliance from Day Zero.
- Conductquarterly process reviewsto keep HR aligned with business goals.
II. Policy, Compliance & POSH
- Design and implementcompany policies leave, attendance, expense reimbursement, WFH, POSH, and code of conduct.
- Automatepolicy access, communication and acknowledgmentsthrough Zoho People / HRMS.
- Maintain apolicy governance framework version control, approvals, communication and digital acknowledgements (e-sign).
- Conductregular policy reviewsfor legal compliance and relevance.
- Support and implementPOSH committee processes and training.
III. Workforce & Performance Lifecycle
- Standardize therecruitment & approvals process, ensuring proper documentation and HRMS integration.
- Leadinduction & onboarding, including digital tutorials and HR portal walkthroughs.
- Design and implementperformance appraisal, goal-setting, promotion and increment frameworks.
- Link performance outcomes tocompensation, bonuses and succession planning.
- Driveculture, engagement and grievance redressalthrough structured programs and communication channels.
IV. Rewards, Payroll & Financial Compliance
- Ensure timely filings forPF, ESIC, TDS, PT, Bonus, Gratuity, etc.
- Coordinate closely with Finance forpayroll reconciliation and HR audits.
- Trackovertime, site allowances and related dashboards.
Employee Financial Awareness & ITR Support
- Organise annualITR awareness sessionswith external CAs.
- Guide employees oninvestment declarations, proofs and tax-saving options.
- Maintain acentral HRMS repositoryfor ITR-related communication and templates.
- Coordinate with Finance to ensure employee declarations reflect correctly in payroll.
V. HR Technology, Reporting & Governance
- BuildHR dashboardsfor attendance, attrition, payroll cost, overtime and engagement.
- Ensuredata accuracy, security and access controlin all HR systems.
- Automatemonthly HR summaries & MISfor leadership.
- Preparemonthly HR reports(headcount, attrition, hiring metrics, payroll cost, overtime, etc.) and provideinsights for workforce planning.
- Maintainaudit trailsfor all payroll and policy changes.
VI. Exit & Offboarding
- Manageexit formalities, asset handover and knowledge transfer.
- Conductexit interviews, track attrition trends and share insights with leadership.
- Ensuretimely full & final settlementsand complete compliance documentation.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience incore HR, with strong exposure toHR strategy + operations.
- Experience setting up or restructuring HR processes in agrowing organisation / startup / agency.
- Hands-on experience withHRMS tools
- Strong understanding ofIndian labour laws, PF, ESIC, TDS, POSH, and payroll compliance.
- Comfort withdata, dashboards and MIS you love tracking numbers as much as people.
- Excellentcommunication, stakeholder management and documentationskills.
