Job Description

Summary

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading and managing all Human Resources functions of the hotel. The role ensures effective implementation of Hyatt's Purpose, Values, and people strategies while supporting business objectives, maintaining statutory compliance, and fostering a positive colleague experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Human Resources team, ensuring smooth daily HR operations and high service standards.
  • Implement Hyatt Corporate Human Resources strategies, policies, and procedures at the hotel level.
  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws, statutory requirements, and company regulations.
  • Oversee recruitment, selection, onboarding, training, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Drive employee engagement, welfare initiatives, and employee relations activities.
  • Partner with hotel leadership to develop people capability and a strong leadership pipeline.
  • Support financial objectives through workforce planning, payroll management, and HR budgeting.
  • Champion Hyatt Purpose, Values, and Leadership Profile across all departments.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR and people matters.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Management, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience as Human Resource Manager, preferably in hospitality.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, employee relations, and statutory compliance.
  • Proven experience in people management, talent development, and HR operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to balance business priorities with a people‑centric approach aligned to Hyatt values.
