Job Description: HR Intern

Role Overview

The HR Intern will support the Human Resources function across key areas such as employee onboarding, engagement, HR analytics, and organizational development initiatives. This role provides hands-on exposure to HR operations, employee experience design, data-driven HR insights, and cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities

1 Onboarding & New Employee Orientation (NEO)

  • Assist in planning and executing New Employee Orientation (NEO) programs across multiple batches.
  • Coordinate logistics including scheduling, communication with speakers, and preparation of onboarding materials.
  • Facilitate employee engagement through team-building activities during onboarding.
  • Maintain and update NEO agendas, speaker lists, and onboarding documentation.
  • Monitor and manage new joiner kits inventory and distribution.

2. HR Analytics & Reporting

  • Work on HR dashboards and analysis reports (monthly, quarterly, etc.)
  • Analyze employee survey data and incorporate feedback into reports.
  • Work on slide decks, program documentation, etc.

3. HR Operations & Compliance

  • Support processes such as IOM documentation and, invoice and expense tracking.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of compliance-related requirements.

4. Communication & Coordination

  • Liaise with internal teams, speakers, and stakeholders for HR initiatives.
  • Send reminders, gather information, and ensure smooth execution of HR activities.
  • Maintain SharePoint folders and update documentation repositories.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Communications, Operations).

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Canva and data handling
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Creativity in designing engagement initiatives
  • Basic understanding of HR processes and policies

Qualification

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
