About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and research-oriented HR Intern to support strategic talent initiatives across Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning. This role will focus on building market intelligence on the e-commerce talent landscape, benchmarking organizational structures and compensation practices, and supporting campus hiring strategy across premier MBA and Engineering institutes. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to strategic HR, talent market research, compensation benchmarking, and employer branding initiatives.

Responsibilities

Talent Market Intelligence & Benchmarking

  • Conduct comprehensive research on the Indian e-commerce, retail-tech, quick-commerce, and consumer-tech talent landscape.
  • Map and benchmark organizational structures across leading companies, identifying team sizes, reporting structures, and key roles across functions such as:
  • Sourcing
  • Technology and Product
  • Buying
  • Finance
  • Benchmark compensation ranges across key roles and levels, leveraging publicly available data, industry reports, and market insights.
  • Create dashboards and presentations to support leadership discussions and workforce planning.

Campus Hiring Strategy & Compensation Benchmarking

  • Conduct detailed research on compensation trends for interns, management trainees, graduate engineers, and entry-level hires across premier institutions.
  • Benchmark stipend, fixed pay, joining bonuses, retention bonuses, ESOPs, and other components offered by leading employers.
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive compensation database covering:
  • IIMs and other premier B-schools
  • IITs, NITs, and top engineering colleges
  • Leading design institutes
  • Assist in creating insights and recommendations for optimizing internship and graduate hiring programs.

Qualifications

Pursuing or completed a bachelor's or master's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.

Required Skills

  • Excellent data gathering, synthesis, and presentation skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and derive meaningful insights.
  • Strong attention to detail and structured problem-solving approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Curiosity about organizational design, talent strategy, and the e-commerce ecosystem.
