We're Hiring: HR Executive
TAC - School of Modern Learning | Madhapur, Hyderabad
TAC is India's first Creative OTT learning platform helping non-BTech graduates from Tier 2/3 cities build real creative careers. We're DPIIT-recognized, NSDC-affiliated, and scaling our team fast - which means we need someone who knows how to find good people, keep good people, and build a culture that good people don't want to leave.
What You'll Do
You'll own the entire people function at a growing environment - this isn't a role where you just post jobs and filter resumes. You'll handle end-to-end recruitment - writing JDs, sourcing candidates, screening, scheduling interviews, and closing offers. You'll manage onboarding so every new joiner feels welcomed and set up for success from Day 1. You'll own attendance, leave tracking, payroll coordination, and ensure compliance with labour regulations including the New Wage Code and EPF processes. You'll be the go-to person when someone on the team has a concern, a conflict, or a question they don't know who else to ask. You'll work directly with the founders to shape HR policies, performance review cycles, and team culture as we scale from a small crew to a much larger one.
Who You Are
You have at least 1 year of experience in an HR role - startup, agency, EdTech, IT services, or any organization where you were actually doing HR work, not just watching someone else do it.
You're naturally a people person - not in the I like socializing way, but in the I notice when someone on the team is off, and I do something about it way. You understand that managing people means balancing empathy with accountability. You can have a tough conversation on Monday and still have that person trust you on Tuesday.
You're organized without being rigid. You can keep track of 15 things at once - offer letters, payroll deadlines, interview schedules, compliance filings - without dropping the ball. You understand that in a startup, HR isn't a department. It's a responsibility that touches everything.
