Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced
HR Manager with strong exposure to
manufacturing/factory operations. The candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR functions including
labour law compliance, performance management, skill matrix, manpower planning, and overall factory HR activities.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Operations & Manpower Management
- Handle complete recruitment and onboarding for factory manpower and staff.
- Maintain attendance, leave, payroll inputs, and employee records.
- Manage contract labour, shift planning, and workforce discipline.
- Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning and utilization.
- Labour Law & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Factory Act, ESIC, PF, Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, CLRA, and other statutory requirements.
- Maintain statutory registers, licenses, and compliance documentation.
- Liaise with government authorities, auditors, and consultants.
- Performance Management & KRA/KPI
- Develop and implement KRA/KPI systems for all departments.
- Manage performance appraisal cycle, increments, confirmations, and promotions.
- Monitor employee productivity and support improvement plans.
- Training & Skill Development
- Prepare and maintain skill matrix for production and staff employees.
- Identify training needs and coordinate technical & behavioural training programs.
- Support multi-skilling and productivity improvement initiatives.
- Employee Relations & Factory Activities
- Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, counselling, and engagement activities.
- Maintain healthy industrial relations and shop-floor discipline.
- Organize employee welfare, safety awareness, and communication programs.
- HR Systems & Reporting
- Maintain HR MIS, reports, and documentation for management review.
- Support ISO, audits, and internal compliance requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and factory compliance
- Experience in KRA/KPI, performance appraisal, and skill matrix
- Good communication and employee handling skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, HRMIS, and documentation
- Ability to work in fast-paced manufacturing environment
Qualification
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years HR experience in manufacturing industry.
