About The Role
Kaygen is seeking a highly capable and people-centric HR Manager to reinforce its HR function in Bangalore. This role is pivotal in managing and enhancing the employee experience across a dynamic staffing-led business environment. The HR Manager will support the company's U.S.-focused staffing operations while also addressing the needs of India-based teams. The ideal candidate will bring maturity, responsiveness, and a deep understanding of workplace behavior, ideally with a background in Psychology to add behavioral insights to employee engagement initiatives.
The primary focus of this role is to ensure smooth onboarding, foster employee engagement, support performance management, and uphold HR operations and compliance. The HR Manager will work closely with business leaders, recruiters, account managers, and delivery teams to create a positive, productive, and compliant work environment. This position requires a proactive approach, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving, results-driven environment.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, or a related field, with a strong preference for candidates with a Psychology background. They should have 8-10 years of relevant HR experience, particularly in staffing, talent solutions, recruitment services, or fast-paced consulting environments. Prior exposure to U.S. staffing or offshore staffing operations will be advantageous. The candidate should demonstrate excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills, along with a high degree of empathy and maturity in handling employee matters.
Additionally, familiarity with HR processes such as onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance is essential. The ability to interpret people trends and data to inform HR strategies will be highly valued.
Responsibilities
HR Support for a Staffing-Led Business
- Act as an HR partner to a fast-paced staffing and talent solutions organization, primarily supporting U.S.-focused operations and coordinating with India-based teams.
- Understand the intricacies of staffing environments, including recruiter productivity, onboarding velocity, employee movement, and performance pressures.
- Collaborate with business leaders and managers to provide practical, responsive HR support aligned with business priorities.
Talent Experience and Onboarding
- Ensure a seamless onboarding process for new hires, coordinating hiring, documentation, policy communication, and onboarding activities.
- Create a welcoming and professional onboarding experience that supports employee integration and early-stage clarity of expectations.
- Work with managers to improve early engagement, team fit, and overall employee assimilation.
Employee Experience and Retention
- Monitor employee sentiment, early adjustment, and retention risks across teams.
- Conduct regular engagement touchpoints and address workplace concerns proactively.
- Partner with managers to implement retention strategies for high-risk or disengaged employees.
Performance, Manager Effectiveness, and Recognition
- Support performance management processes, ensuring clarity of goals, accountability, and feedback mechanisms.
- Assist managers in strengthening their people management skills through regular check-ins and coaching.
- Promote recognition initiatives to boost morale and reinforce positive workplace behaviors.
Employee Relations and Engagement
- Serve as a trusted HR contact for employees and managers, handling sensitive matters with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Drive employee engagement activities that foster motivation and a sense of community.
- Support HR communication, policy awareness, and culture-building efforts to cultivate a respectful and high-performance workplace environment.
Learning and Development
- Identify development needs through stakeholder collaboration and facilitate relevant training initiatives.
- Support growth opportunities for emerging talent, managers, and key contributors.
- Encourage continuous learning and facilitate development conversations to enhance employee capabilities.
HR Operations, Compliance, and Governance
- Ensure the effective execution of core HR processes including onboarding, employee documentation, and grievance management.
