About the Role

We are looking for an experienced HR Manager who has handled end-to-end hiring, HR operations, team management, and vendor partnerships in a corporate or SME environment. The ideal candidate should be capable of leading a small HR team, driving recruitment strategy, and ensuring smooth HR processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a small HR team (Recruiters/HR Executives).
  • Allocate workload, set performance expectations, and ensure delivery of HR KPIs.
  • Conduct regular team reviews, provide coaching, and drive continuous improvement.

2. Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for all business units.
  • Develop hiring plans in coordination with business leaders and department heads.
  • Design effective sourcing strategies using portals, social media, networks, and vendors.
  • Conduct interviews and ensure timely closure of positions.

3. Vendor & Partner Management

  • Identify, empanel, and manage recruitment agencies and HR service providers.
  • Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate pricing, and drive SLA adherence.
  • Build long-term, outcome-based partnerships.

4. HR Operations

  • Oversee onboarding, induction, documentation, and employee lifecycle management.
  • Ensure accuracy in HRMIS updates, payroll coordination, and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, Gratuity, etc.).
  • Manage exit processes and retention initiatives.

5. Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Design and execute engagement activities, communication plans, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Support performance review cycles, goal-setting, and appraisal documentation.
  • Act as an HR point of contact for employees and resolve queries, grievances, and feedback.

6. Policy, Compliance & Process Improvement

  • Ensure effective implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Identify gaps and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws and organizational standards.

Requirements

  • 510 years of experience in HR, preferably from corporate or SME environments.
  • Must have experience leading or managing a team.
  • Strong hands-on experience in end-to-end recruitment and vendor management.
  • Knowledge of HR operations, compliance, payroll coordination, and HR systems.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
