Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned HR Business Partner to act as a strategic advisor to business leaders, driving the people agenda in alignment with organizational goals. The role requires strong expertise across HRBP functions, along with sound knowledge of payroll compliances, and experience partnering with both sales and internal function verticals within a mid-sized organization.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Business Partnering
- Partner with business leaders across sales and internal functions to drive HR strategies aligned with business objectives
- Act as a trusted advisor on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent management
- Drive performance management, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives
- Employee Lifecycle Management
- Oversee end-to-end employee lifecycle including onboarding, engagement, development, and retention
- Provide guidance on performance improvement plans, career development, and employee relations
- Stakeholder Management & Advisory
- Collaborate with stakeholders across functions to influence decision-making and drive people outcomes
- Effectively negotiate and manage expectations with business leaders and middle management
- Conflict Management & Employee Relations
- Handle complex employee relations issues with maturity and confidentiality
- Drive conflict resolution through structured interventions and mediation
- Ensure a positive and productive work environment
- Compliance & Payroll Governance
- Ensure adherence to statutory compliances and HR policies, especially those linked to payroll
- Work closely with payroll teams to ensure accuracy, governance, and compliance with applicable laws
- Data, Insights & Presentation
- Analyze HR metrics and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Deliver impactful presentations to leadership teams on people strategy, trends, and interventions
Job Requirements- 12–14 years of progressive HR experience with strong exposure to HR Business Partnering
- Experience supporting both sales and internal function verticals is strongly preferred
- Currently supporting a business unit of 500–600 employees, with direct interaction with middle management
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and statutory compliance
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving capabilities
- High proficiency in presentation and communication skills
- Ability to influence, coach, and partner with business leaders
