Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Healthcare Recruiter to identify, attract, screen, and recruit qualified healthcare professionals for various clinical and non-clinical positions. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, knowledge of healthcare staffing, and the ability to manage multiple candidates and job requirements in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and recruit qualified healthcare professionals through job boards, LinkedIn, social media, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
- Recruit candidates for positions such as Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Medical Assistants, Therapists, Allied Health professionals, and other healthcare roles.
- Review resumes and conduct initial phone/video screenings to assess candidates qualifications, experience, availability, and career goals.
- Verify candidate credentials, licenses, certifications, work authorization, and other required qualifications.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified healthcare candidates for current and future openings.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Communicate job details, compensation, benefits, schedules, locations, and employment requirements to candidates.
- Follow up with candidates throughout the recruitment and hiring process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, healthcare facilities, and clients.
- Stay informed about healthcare industry trends, staffing requirements, licensing requirements, and market conditions.
- Meet recruiting goals, including submission, interview, placement, and time-to-fill targets.
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment, healthcare staffing, licensing, and organizational policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent recruiting experience may be considered.
- 1–3+ years of experience in healthcare recruiting or staffing preferred.
- Strong understanding of healthcare roles, credentials, licenses, and certifications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong sourcing, interviewing, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple open positions simultaneously.
- Experience using ATS, CRM systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and recruiting databases is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience recruiting for hospitals, clinics, nursing facilities, home healthcare, travel nursing, or healthcare staffing agencies.
- Familiarity with healthcare licensing and credentialing processes.
- Experience with high-volume recruiting.
- Ability to meet deadlines and recruiting performance metrics.
- Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
