What This Role Is About

This is not a review-the-deck and ask-for-updates role.

We're looking for a Head of Sales who sells.

Someone who can build the pipeline, close deals themselves, guide the team end to

end, and own the revenue number.

You will set direction and execute.

What You'll Own

  • End-to-end sales ownership: leads pitches negotiations closures.
  • Revenue targets: your number, your responsibility.
  • Key accounts & strategic deals: you will personally handle high-value clients.
  • Sales team performance: guide, coach, course-correct, close gaps.
  • Sales motion & process: CRM discipline, pipeline hygiene, forecasting.
  • Founders sales partner: help shape GTM, pricing, positioning, and expansion.

What You'll Actually Do


  • Prospect and open doors yourself.
  • Lead client meetings, demos, and proposal discussions.
  • Close deals - especially the hard ones.
  • Build and mentor a sales team that executes, not excuses.
  • Work closely with product, tech, and delivery to win deals correctly.
  • Hire, train, and scale the team as revenue grows.

What We're Looking For


  • 810 years of B2B sales experience.
  • Proven record of closing deals, not just managing people.
  • Experience leading a team while staying hands-on.
  • Strong in client conversations, negotiations, and objections.
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving, ambiguous startup environment.
  • Experience in tech / SaaS / GIS / infra / utilities is a strong plus.
