Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a high-performing Senior Sales professional to lead revenue generation for our Event Management vertical. This role will be responsible for acquiring new clients, driving strategic partnerships, and scaling enterprise event business across corporate, B2B, and brand-led engagements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Drive end-to-end sales for event solutions (corporate events, brand activations, offsites, conferences, exhibitions)
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified leads
  • Own revenue targets (monthly, quarterly, annual)
  • Convert inbound and outbound leads into long-term clients

2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Identify and acquire new enterprise and mid-market clients
  • Build CXO-level relationships across marketing, HR, and admin functions
  • Act as a strategic advisor to clients on event-led marketing solutions
  • Ensure high client retention and repeat business

3. Solution Selling

  • Understand client objectives and design customized event solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams (creative, operations, production) to build compelling proposals
  • Lead pitch presentations and negotiations

4. Market Expansion & Strategy

  • Identify new industry segments and revenue opportunities
  • Develop GTM strategies for event services
  • Track competitor activities and industry trends

5. Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with Operations Lead to ensure seamless project execution
  • Align with marketing team on lead generation campaigns
  • Maintain CRM hygiene and reporting discipline

Key Requirements

Experience

  • 10-12+ years of experience in event sales / experiential marketing / B2B services sales
  • Proven track record of achieving high revenue targets
  • Experience working with corporate clients and large-scale events

Skills

  • Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills
  • Excellent presentation and communication abilities
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles
  • Strong network within corporate / marketing ecosystem
  • Commercial acumen with pricing and margin understanding

Preferred Background

  • Experience in an event management agency / experiential marketing firm / BTL agency
  • Exposure to industries like IT, BFSI, startups, or large enterprises
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking systems

  • Revenue generated (monthly/quarterly)
  • Number of new clients acquired
  • Conversion rate from pitch to closure
  • Average deal size
  • Client retention & repeat business
