Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Delhi, India, for the Head of Sales Operations position. The Head of Sales Operations will be responsible for overseeing the sales processes, implementing business strategies, and driving operational efficiency within the sales department. The role involves analyzing sales performance data, identifying opportunities for improvement, designing and optimizing business processes, and developing actionable sales plans in alignment with company goals. The role will also entail leading teams, ensuring effective sales execution, and collaborating with other departments to drive overall growth.
Qualifications
(i) Sales Strategy & Operations: Proven expertise in developing and managing high-impact sales strategies tailored to drive revenue in the educational publishing sector.
(ii) Institutional Book Adoptions: Demonstrated success in marketing educational materials and securing textbook recommendations or adoptions across reputed institutions, schools, and universities.
(iii) Team Leadership: Exceptional leadership capabilities with a track record of scaling, motivating, and managing distributed teams, including regional sales managers and on-ground sales field officers.
(iv) Analytics & Business Planning: Strong analytical skills to evaluate regional performance dashboards, forecast market trends, and leverage data to achieve Studymaxx's organizational objectives.
(v) Process Optimization: Experience in Business Process Improvement, focusing on streamlining workflows and enhancing the daily operational efficiency of the sales force.
(vi) Executive Communication: Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills, capable of forging strong, long-term relationships with institutional heads and key decision-makers.
(vii) Industry Expertise: Deep, working knowledge of the education and publishing industry landscape.
(viii) Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
