Job Title: Head of Payroll (India & Global)
Location: Noida (Hybrid)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Payroll to lead and oversee end-to-end payroll operations across India and global regions. This role will ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing while driving standardization, automation, and governance across multiple geographies.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Operations
• Lead and manage end-to-end payroll processing for India and international entities.
• Ensure timely and accurate payroll delivery, including salaries, bonuses, incentives, and statutory payments.
• Oversee payroll accounting, reconciliations, and reporting.
Compliance & Governance
• Ensure full compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements across all operating countries.
• Manage audits (internal & external) and ensure payroll controls are robust and documented.
• Stay updated with regulatory changes and implement necessary updates in payroll processes.
Global Payroll Strategy
• Define and implement a scalable global payroll strategy.
• Standardize payroll processes, policies, and systems across regions.
• Drive payroll transformation initiatives including automation and system integration.
Stakeholder Management
• Partner with HR, Finance, Legal, and external vendors to ensure seamless payroll operations.
• Act as the primary escalation point for payroll-related issues globally.
• Provide payroll insights and analytics to leadership.
Vendor & System Management
• Manage relationships with global payroll vendors and service providers.
• Evaluate and implement payroll systems/HRIS integrations.
• Ensure data accuracy and security across payroll platforms.
Team Leadership
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing payroll team across geographies.
• Define KPIs, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or related field (MBA/CA/CPA preferred).
• 17+ years of payroll experience, with significant exposure to India and global payroll.
• Proven experience managing multi-country payroll operations.
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws, taxation, and compliance requirements across regions.
• Experience with payroll systems (e.g., SAP, Workday, ADP, Oracle, etc.).
