Finance Controller | Shillong / Delhi
We're looking for a hands-on Finance Controller to own and lead all financial operations for a fast-growing sustainability company scaling rapidly across the country.
The Role You will be the most senior finance person on the ground, reporting to the local CFO, and responsible for end-to-end financial operations including compliance, reporting, audit, and controls.
What You'll Own
- India GAAP compliance, GST, TDS, and all statutory filings
- End-to-end audit preparation and completion
- ERP ownership (Zoho/Tally) — setting it up right from the start
- Monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing and reconciliations
- Group financial reporting and consolidation
- Internal controls, process improvements, and automation
- Transfer pricing, FEMA compliance, and forex transactions
- Fixed asset register, cashflow reporting, and payroll
Who We're Looking For
- Chartered Accountant with 12–20 years of hands-on India GAAP experience
- Strong statutory compliance knowledge (GST, TDS, ROC filings)
- Proven audit leadership and internal controls track record
- ERP experience — Zoho and/or Tally preferred
- Comfortable with international group reporting
- A roll-up-your-sleeves operator, not just a manager
