IT Head – India (Manufacturing/Industrial Sector)
We are seeking a visionary and results-oriented IT Head to lead the digital and technological landscape for a leading global player in electrical and digital building infrastructures. Based in Mumbai, this role is a critical business partner responsible for aligning a complex technological roadmap with local business goals and global IT strategies.
The Role
As the IT Head, you will oversee service delivery across multiple manufacturing sites and commercial locations, ensuring operational excellence in a matrixed global environment. You will report to the CFO – India and serve as a key member of the global IT leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmap: Develop and maintain the technological roadmap for business applications and infrastructure.
- Business Partnership: Act as a strategic partner to stakeholders, ensuring IT initiatives drive performance and agility.
- Project Governance: Manage the full project portfolio, including ERP (SAP) enhancements and docking projects for new subsidiaries.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance: Take full ownership of local cybersecurity levels, ensuring compliance with GDPR, local legislation, and group standards.
- Service Excellence: Monitor IT service management through KPIs and CSAT ratings while managing local IT providers and department budgets.
- Leadership: Provide direction and training for internal IT staff and manage external global teams.
Who You Are
- Experienced Leader: You have 15+ years of experience, ideally within a large-scale industrial or manufacturing context.
- Technically Proficient: Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP), IT operations, and multi-location administration.
- Collaborator: Proven ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and manage global stakeholders.
- Strategist: Skilled in change management, crisis management, and long-term planning.
- Qualified: You hold a B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. in Computer Science; an MBA is highly preferred.
