Role Definition :

The Head of Finance at SFC Environmental Technologies Ltd. plays a pivotal role in ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and governance across the group. This role combines strategic financial leadership with hands-on execution, leveraging deep technical expertise and cross-functional collaboration to keep the organisation financially sound and audit-ready. As a key member of the Finance leadership team, the incumbent contributes directly to the reliability, transparency and performance of the Company's financial operations.

Experience

• 10–15 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, direct taxation, and statutory compliance in a multi-company / multi-site environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Mandatory qualification of Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost Accountant (CMA)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead timely financial closure and prepare consolidated financial statements while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and strong governance frameworks.
• Strengthen internal financial controls, policies, and processes to maintain accuracy, transparency, and audit readiness across all group entities.
• Partner with the CFO and leaders to provide strategic financial insights that support decision-making and business growth.
• Drive financial planning, cost optimization, and profitability analysis across business units to improve overall performance.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, monitor performance against budgets, and present variance analysis to Management and the Board.
• Ensure end-to-end direct tax compliance, manage assessments and litigation, and coordinate statutory compliances with HR.
• Oversee treasury operations including cash flow management, working capital optimization, banking relationships, and forex transactions.
• Lead all audits (statutory, internal, tax, transfer pricing) and ensure timely closure of observations with effective risk mitigation.
• Drive high-quality MIS reporting, enhance data reliability, and lead ERP optimization and automation initiatives.
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and ownership.
