Head of Finance – US Accounting

Shift: 06:00 PM – 03:30 AM IST (US Shift)
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Finance with strong expertise in US Accounting to lead and manage the organization's financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, compliance, reporting, and team leadership, ensuring alignment with US accounting standards and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end finance and accounting operations aligned with US GAAP
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with US accounting standards, tax regulations, and audits
- Handle cash flow management and financial risk assessment
- Collaborate with leadership for strategic financial decision-making
- Manage and mentor the finance and accounting team
- Coordinate with external stakeholders such as auditors, tax consultants, and US clients
- Drive process improvements and automation in finance functions
Key Requirements
- Education: CA / CPA / MBA Finance or equivalent
- Experience: 10–15+ years in Finance & Accounting, with strong exposure to US Accounting
- Proven experience in a leadership role (Finance Head / Controller level)
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, taxation, and compliance
- Experience working in night shifts / US clients environment
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in IT / Healthcare / Staffing industry (preferred)
- Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, etc.)
- Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills
