Designation: Head, IFA Channel

Own and scale partnerships with small and mid-sized brokers, IFAs, RIAs, and distribution firms across India to drive adoption of Appreciate's global investing platform.
Identify, engage, and close strategic partner relationships by pitching global investing and US portfolio access as a differentiated value proposition for their clients.
Lead end-to-end partner onboarding, including commercial discussions, compliance coordination, account setup, platform enablement, and go-live readiness.
Enable partners to create and distribute US-focused investment portfolios by providing product training, sales narratives, and portfolio use-cases.
Drive partner-led growth by increasing active advisors, client onboarding, transaction volumes, and assets routed through partner channels.
Work closely with product, compliance, operations, and marketing teams to ensure smooth partner experience and service support.
Closeloop feedback from brokers and advisors for product, pricing, and process improvements.
Negotiate and manage commercial terms, revenue-share models, and performance expectations to ensure sustainable and scalable partnerships.
Track partner performance using defined KPIs with visibility to leadership on pipeline, activations, and revenue contribution.
Represent the company at industry forums, broker meets, and wealth management events.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills7-12 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or channel leadership roles within wealthtech, brokerage distribution, fintech, or financial services.
Proven track record of managing relationships with brokers, IFAs, distributors, or financial intermediaries in India.
Strong understanding of investment products, capital markets, and global investment opportunities.
Excellent communicator, negotiator, and deal-closer with strong commercial acumen.
Ability to operate with high autonomy and collaborate across teams in a fast-paced environment.
MBA/PG Diploma in business/finance or equivalent; certifications such as CFA/CFP are a plus.
Willingness to travel across India regularly to meet partners and develop relationships.
