Job Description

TL;DR 

A fast-growing US DTC pet supplement brand is hiring its first growth marketer to take full ownership of paid social — from creative strategy through to conversion. You'll work directly with the founder to build and scale the performance engine from the ground up.

  • Role type: Fully remote, Part time (15–25 hours/week) with a path to full-time
  • Working hours: CET timezone 
  • Salary range: up to ₹15 LPA on a full-time basis (part-time would be pro-rated).

About the opportunity

Our client is a scaling US DTC pet supplement brand where the founder has been running performance marketing himself. Growth has outpaced what one person can manage, and they now need someone to take full ownership, not just assist.

This is the first performance marketing hire. There's no team, no inherited playbook, and no agency driving strategy. You'll work directly with the founder and coordinate external partners (ad agency, CRO agency, freelancers), with clear visibility and accountability from day one.

The role starts at 15–25 hours per week, with a clear path to full-time and the opportunity to build and lead the function over time.

What you'll do

  • Own Meta Ads end-to-end: strategy, creative testing, optimisation, and performance decision-making across the account.
  • Build and manage the creative pipeline from brief → review → iteration; this isn't a media-buying-only role, creative thinking is core to the job.
  • Own the full funnel from ad → landing page → conversion, including overseeing CRO and maintaining a clear testing roadmap with external partners.
  • Diagnose performance across the funnel. When results drop, you'll identify whether the issue lies in creative, targeting, or conversion.
  • Navigate supplement ad claim restrictions on Meta, working closely with the founder, who will stay involved early on.
  • Coordinate with agencies and freelancers while building structure and processes for a function that doesn't yet exist.
  • Support Google Ads as a secondary channel alongside Meta. 

Who we're looking for

  • You've got 2–5 years in performance marketing for DTC brands, ideally in supplements, pet, or health and wellness, with hands-on experience targeting US consumers.
  • You've owned Meta paid social end-to-end, from creative direction to performance, and understand what actually drives results.
  • You think in funnels, not channels, and are comfortable owning the journey from ad → landing page → conversion, including guiding CRO.
  • You've worked in scrappy, early-stage environments where you've had to build processes and structure from scratch.
  • You've coordinated with agencies, freelancers, or external partners and can manage execution without relying on large internal teams. 

Bonus points if you have

  • Experience with CTV channels like Tatari or Axon.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for creative or campaign work.
  • A dog or a cat (genuinely – it helps).
