Garment Production Manager oversees the entire manufacturing process, from raw material procurement to final garment finishing, ensuring high-quality apparel is produced on time and within budget. Key duties include production scheduling, capacity planning, managing worker efficiency, quality control, and maintaining safety standards. Key Responsibilities:Production Planning: Create and manage master production schedules (MPS), setting timelines, and calculating raw material needs.Operations Oversight: Monitor the production chain—marking, cutting, sewing, finishing, and packaging.Quality & Technical Control: Ensure finished products meet brand standards and technical specifications.Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate factory staff, managing manpower and improving workflow.Cost Management: Optimize resources and minimize wastage to achieve cost-effective production.Troubleshooting: Resolve production bottlenecks, machinery breakdowns, or logistics issues.Reporting: Prepare daily/weekly reports on WIP (Work in Progress), production efficiency, and machinery status.
